Poem of the Week: Food Chain Poem

Food Chain Poem

Who eats what?
Who eats who?
Who eats me?
Who eats you?
Food chains show,
What things eat,
What eats plants,
Who eats meats...

Starts with sun,
Producers grow,
They make food,
Don’t you know?
Consumers come,

For energy,
Eat those plants.
They’re quite tasty…
Food chain might,
Make you squirm,
Things eat things,
Bird eats worm…

A shark will eat,
Other fish,
That eat seaweed,
As their dish...
A fox will hunt,
That's not news,
Eats a mouse,
And rabbits too…
But who eats fox?
Food chain shows,
A wolf? A bear?
How nature goes!
Food chains say,
What eats who,
Who eats me,
And what eats you!

  1. My dog addition
    Had a mission
To stop pooping in the house
    Sadly,he pooped even more...
    And even on our door!

  2. I stalk on my chalk
    On the side walk
    Everyday you see
    A hummin' bee
And I eye it like a hawk

  4. Everyday my mother is busy
    Soaking and drying our clothes
Cooking our meals with love & zeal
    Although she gives us resources
She can't find the time to play with us
And if she does, she only has a few minutes!
So at school, I'll write about how much I love her
And also her limited time with her own family

  5. Dad works hard for our family
    And not even for himself
He is like a golden flute that is always playing night and day
And that's what I always like to say
Music always ringing in my ears but in a good way

  6. Ryan helps himself and acts like he is the big brother
But seriously it's really just a wonder
And all I can do is mutter
HIM! I'm going in the gutter...

  7. Did you smell that interesting smell?
It smelled like some chicken boiling in some soup
And some eggs in there too!
Did your friend not like it?
    How about you? Did you?!
If you disagree, let it be!

So write one right now! Don't hesitate
Then do it and meditate! See who will win

  8. My lobster Snow White
    Is a mini white ghost
That never comes up for air
She always waits for food to come from (her) skies
And if she's not hungry I don't know why
However, she's always hungry so that's why my mom sighs
    And says she's fat
She's right, compared to the first time we got her
    And how she is now
    But I don't care
Snow White will always be my little baby, that's how she is in the movies...
